USDA Zones 3 - 8. In mild winter areas, refrigerate tulips for 6 weeks before
planting. Plant tulips 6 inches deep and 4 - 6 inches apart. Plant them in the

result of crossing between long stemmed Darwin Tulips and varieties of the
