Hybrid Calla Lilies - Calla Lilies can be used in beds, low borders, patio pots or planters. Also they can be used as indoor house plants. The foliage is attractive rich green and upright with sturdy, broad sword-like leaves. The bulb-plants enjoy rich garden soil. Hardy in zones 9-11; elsewhere lift bulbs in the fall for winter storage or grow indoors. Plant them 1.5 - 2 inches deep and 12 inches apart. They prefer a morning sun and afternoon shade location. This is the first "almost" black calla on the market! (true eggplant color) It was a Gold Medal winner at the famous Keukenhof gardens where it was first introduced. Each bulb produces 3-5 flowers. 15-18 inches. Available January - March. Mammoth Calla Lily. Largest yellow calla ever, stems are very sturdy and make excellent cut flowers. Hardy in Zones 7-11, elsewhere dig and store in a moist, frost-free place. 24-30 inches. Available January - March . Flame Calla Lily. This is one of our favorites. It is golden yellow flushed red. Hardy in zones 9-11.; elsewhere lift bulbs in the fall for winter storage or grow indoors. Height is 15-18 inches. Available January - March.
